Every farm shop needs a stack of good cutting discs on hand. Whether you’re trimming bolts that are too long, cutting steel plate for a repair, or making modifications to implements, this 4 1/2-inch steel cutting disc gets the job done right. It’s the kind of disc you’ll reach for when you need clean cuts through steel without sparks flying everywhere or the disc falling apart halfway through the job.
What You’re Getting
- 4 1/2-inch diameter fits standard angle grinders found in most farm shops
- 3.2mm thickness provides the right balance of cutting speed and disc life
- Designed specifically for cutting steel – won’t load up or burn like general purpose discs
- Clean cuts with minimal sparks and less heat buildup than cheaper alternatives
- Durable construction that won’t shatter or crack under normal farm shop use
Built for Real Farm Work
This disc handles the steel cutting jobs that come up around the farm – from shortening hydraulic fittings to cutting angle iron for gate repairs. It works great on everything from thin sheet metal to thicker structural steel. You’ll find yourself using it for welding prep, removing rusted bolts, and all those little fabrication jobs that keep your equipment running.
Made to Last
Farm shop cutting discs take abuse, and this one’s built to handle it. The abrasive grain is designed to stay sharp longer, so you get more cuts per disc. It won’t fall apart when you hit a hard spot in the steel or catch an edge wrong like some of the bargain discs do.
Good to Know
Make sure your angle grinder is rated for 4 1/2-inch discs before installing. Always wear safety glasses and gloves – steel cutting throws sparks and small metal fragments. Keep a steady pressure but don’t force it – let the disc do the work and you’ll get cleaner cuts with longer disc life.
